The Friendship Rose is a beautiful, 100 foot sailing Schooner which was built by hand in Bequia and first launched in 1969. It has a fantastic story, rich in Bequia's history and Captain Lewis, who helped build her, is still Captain today. A day cruise on the Friendship Rose is like no other - it is an authentic, wonderfully relaxed way to explore the Grenadines.  Join the crew for fishing 'local style' and get involved, learn the ropes and hoist the sails, try your hand at the wheel during the voyage and watch for dolphins and turtles from the bow sprit.

All food is prepared freshly on board. You are welcomed aboard to a fresh breakfast with French pressed coffee, fresh tropical fruit and pastries. Later a delicious lunch is served with wines and coffees and, on the return sail to Bequia, afternoon tea and cake. Sailing snacks are always available, and there is even a Champagne toast on arrival in Mustique!

The Tobago Cays - Glide through crystal clear waters between the five uninhabited sandy islands of the Tobago Cays. Surrounded by a horseshoe reef, the Cays offer some of the best snorkeling in the Grenadines. Stroll on a pristine coral sand beach . . . hike to the top of the tiny islands for the perfect picture . . . dream under the palms, or in a hammock on deck.

Mustique - The Schooner anchors next to the world famous Basil's Bar, and Champagne is served on arrival. Mustique's natural beauty and its quiet unspoiled beaches are all yours to enjoy. Consider taking a full island tour, sample the beaches, snorkel, see the varied architecture and enjoy the exclusivity.

Tropical St. Vincent  - Set sail for a luscious land of waterfalls and plantations, to the towering volcano.

The cruises on the Friendship Rose are enjoyed by all ages. Infants and children are welcome - sailing free up to 5 years, and half price up to 16 years.

SNORKEL - You can go snorkeling on both the Mustique and Tobago Cays cruises. Snorkeling gear - masks, snorkels, fins and safety jackets are provided for you on board. Remember to bring a towel and sun screen.

RELAX - There are plenty of comfortable deck cushions, and hammocks to relax in under the sun awning. There is a Captain, Chef and 4 crew to look after you during the day. Sit back and enjoy the sail to your chosen destination, with drinks and snacks. Let the boat gently rock you to sleep on the return journey, or look out at the beautiful colours of the Caribbean Sea and take some pictures.

EXPLORE - You have plenty of time to enjoy the palm fringed beaches and to explore the islands. There is an 18 ft launch to go ashore, and for snorkeling on the coral reefs.

DIVE - If you wish to dive we can arrange a rendezvous dive for you (the dive boat picks you up from the Friendship Rose).

NATURE WATCH - Dolphins, Turtles and Rays are frequently seen, in season Whales are spotted too!

One way transfers can be easily arranged, and we can also arrange speed boat and flight connections for guests wishing to join from other islands.
