A classic private tropical island seven miles west of Mustique  and less than a mile due south of Bequia - Position:12 degrees 58.25minutes N61 degrees 14.40 minutes W.

The island has a lovely beach a welcoming yacht anchorage and is a short boat ride from the inter island airport on the south coast of Bequia. There is ample level and sloping land from sea level to an élévation of 290 feet. The island is 0.55 miles long and 0.3 miles wide with 1.75 miles of coastline.

Beaches

Half of the south coast is a 1,200 ft  palm fringed  coral sand beach there are also small beaches on the north and west coasts

Yacht Anchorage

A calm west facing protected bay with 1/4 mile anchorage

Sailing

The area is arguably one of the best sailing locations in the world.DIVING: there are many dIve sites to explore locally  there is good snorkeling from the beach and around the island in general.

Views

Petit Nevis enjoys interesting views in every direction...Mustique, Petit Mustique, Isle a Quatre, Baliceau and Battowia islands,  Bequia, Syrup, Middle and Semple Cays, Friendship Bay, West Cays, Canouan and Union Island to the south and on the horizon the Savan Islands

History

This island is the home of the historic Bequia whaling station  no longer in use.

Iguana's, land turtle, lizards, land crabs tropical birds, coral, tropical fish, pelagic fish - Marlin, Dorado, KingFish, Tuna etc., turtles, dolphin, Pilot whale, Humpback whale and Sperm whales.

Climate

South of the main hurricane paths the area enjoys constant tradewinds and an incredibly steady climate very calm summers and breezy winters.Its sunny all year round.
