Villa Description

Stunning Location

This serene villa incorporates the island's natural beauty into a unique inner garden, nestled into the Endeavour Hills with views across the Caribbean Sea and nearby Grenadine islands. Tetto Rosso's unique design and layout offers true privacy and the villa is just a short walk from Mustique's finest beach, Macaroni Beach. Freshwater swimming pool, verandahs and patio flow seamlessly into the tropical setting, enhancing the villa's peaceful spirit.

Unique Inner Garden

The villa was built in 1980 and has recently been refurbished and modernised. The living room at Tetto Rosso, also known as the Island Room, is designed in such a way as to provide a comfortable, relaxed yet atmospheric environment with it's unique inner garden fringed by tropical palms and shrubs. With polished dark-wood floors and comfortable cushions and rattan couches. Every window and door is framed by lush tropical foliage. This is a house that feels part of the landscape, shaded, natural and relaxing.

3 Sumptuous Bedrooms

3 bedrooms, 2 twin rooms and a King Size master bedroom all feature modern, sleek, spa style bathrooms, have air conditioning, louvered windows and mosquito nets over the beds.

All three air conditioned bedroom suites and their bathrooms have been recently refurbished and Tetto Rosso's unique layout means that each suite is in a location of It's own. Two of the bedrooms can be twins and feature adjoining dressing rooms and the master bedroom also incorporates a well stocked library.

Pool Area with Open Air Showers & Pebble Finish

The freshwater stone lined pool is 29' long with sun loungers and a dining gazebo, outdoor showers finished in the same curvaceous pebbles that line the pool. The pool area overlooks the tropical gardens and Caribbean sea beyond - the perfect place to relax or enjoy a meal.

Dining at Tetto Rosso Mustique

Dine indoors, under the stars in the poolside gazebo or take lunch on the beach should you wish. Wherever you choose an award winning Chef will cook to your requirements whatever your tastes.

The Beaches

Macaroni Beach is perhaps the most famous of Mustique's nine beaches and is situated on the eastern Atlantic coast. Other popular beaches are Endeavour, Lagoon, L'Ansecoy, Pasture Bay and Simplicity, several have picnic hut facilities. Some beaches are connected along the coastline by rustic paths.

Mustique Island

The Isle of Mustique is privately owned and it's constant warm climate and unspoilt landscape makes it unique and extremely desirable. Discreetly maintained by The Mustique Company a maximum of 100 residential properties may exist although there are currently only around 70 in existence. Of the few roads on the island, little signage exists and all the telephone and power cables are underground. In essence Mustique has been developed in reverse, the properties are sophisticated whilst the landscape is unspoilt and serene.

Covering 1,400 acres Mustique has several coral reefs at it's waters edge and plays host to a variety of beautiful wildlife such as herons, tortoises, iguanas and a wide variety of tropical birds. The year round population of around 500 live mostly in the villages of Lovell, Britannia Bay and Dover. General history of the island dates back to the 15th century when Spanish sailors named the island 'Los Pajaros' or The Birds' as the islands resembled a flock of birds settling on the ocean. Originally the islands main export was Sugarcane but this was eventually abandoned in the 19th century when sugar was sourced from European-grown sugar beet. Remains of the Sugarcane industry such as the 'Cotton House' and sugar mill at Endeavour are the last physical traces of the islands historic past.

Horse Riding on Mustique

The Equestrian Centre on Mustique offers the unique opportunity to ride along this unspoilt coastline and lush island landscape. The centre is open from Monday to Friday and rides are scheduled at 9.30am and 3.30pm.
