Situated above the quiet fishing village of La Pompe, Alize is a lovely, open one bedroom lower apartment, with breezy balcony and spectacular ocean views over Friendship Bay. From the villa you can also see the outlying deserted islands of Balliceaux and Battowia. The land behind Alize is undeveloped, so if you enjoy hiking you can walk along the ridge to the peak, which overlooks beautiful Lower Bay. Comfortable and well designed, Alize is highly recommended as one of the nicest budget options on the island of Bequia in St Vincent and The Grenadines.
Lovely double bedroom with private balcony
The bedroom has its own private balcony, and is comfortable and well designed with plenty of light. This is a great space in which to relax after a day adventuring on Bequia.
Semi open plan Kitchen and Lounge
Climb a few steps at the side of the house to the sheltered porch and front door which leads directly to the kitchen and small dining area and open walk through into the lounge - with lovely large windows. The living room is comfortably furnished with a sofa and chairs, cable TV, board games, cards and books. The decor is in cool, calming tones. Twin double doors to the deck give a panoramic view of the sparkling sea, reef colors, islands and Friendship Bay.
Light and spacious, Alize enjoys balmy
trade winds and morning sun, while being shaded in the lee of the
island during the afternoon heat.
Simple, fresh, beach style decor with a nautical feel, airy spacious

The garden is terraced on four levels, with short flights of steps to link them, you have an outside dining table for your own private use.

around Bequia
There are regular buses to Bequia's harbor town of Port Elizabeth . It is also easy to arrange an island tour in one of Bequia's famous open backed taxis. In addition to this, you can explore the island whilst getting from beach to beach via a fun, swift water taxi!

The villa is located at the deep bend by the main La Pompe covered bus stop. The drive way is steep - caution is recommended and a low gear for driving up. There is a turning space at the top of the road. Many villas on Bequia have steep drives.
The airport nearby is an 8 minute drive
TRANSFER TO THE VILLA...
Grenadine Island Villas will arrange a traditional open style taxi to meet you on your arrival on the island and transfer you to your villa. Please simply pay the driver directly in EC or USD - (rates between $10 to $20US).

Tipping is very much appreciated around 5-10% - Our team recommend that any tips are spread out throughout the stay. This sets a positive atmosphere at the villa and reassures staff that their service is appreciated.
"Lower Alize was my home for 24 days in August. The staff at Grenadine
Island Villas couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. When my
stay came to an end, I felt like I was leaving my new home and family.
Lower Alize is perfect for one or two persons. The hillside views of
Friendship Bay and La Pompe are wonderful. I walked into town everyday
(about 40 minutes), but one can easily catch one of the dollar busses.
($.60 US) The people of Bequia were all so very friendly. I was always
greeted with a "mornin' mornin'".
Lower Alize had a very modern feel. Everything was very clean from the
kitchen to the bathroom. There's no air conditioning, but even in the
heat of August, I was fine with a fan blowing on me in the evenings.
Located on the quieter side of the island, the villa is exceptionally
nice for the price. A great home for getting that "live like a local"
feel, rather than being a tourist. The only down side is the steep
driveway. Your legs and butt will really get a good workout.-Not such a
bad thing afterall!"
