Plenty Wind consists of a vast one bedroom main house which sleeps two guests, and
a two bedroom cottage which accommodates four guests. An extra guest
bed is also available if required. These two parts can be rented
together, or the guest cottage can be rented separately, the set up
works perfectly either way.
Beautiful location
Plenty
Wind is nestled on the tip of Hope headland, enjoying a stunning
location and the privacy akin to that of a private island. The views are fabulous,
especially when relaxing in the pool. Plenty Wind is a 10 minute
drive from Port Elizabeth harbour, where you can do some shopping,
organise diving or arrange a day sail to some amazing destinations in
the Grenadines, including Mustique and the Tobago Cays. The 10 acre garden-like grounds include a wonderful breezy cliffside gazebo overlooking the remote beach of Anse La Coite, Park Estate, and the northern end of Bequia. The ocean views include the uninhabited islands of Baliceaux and Battowia and St Vincent in the distance.
Main House. . .
Stylish living area
The living area is stylish and comfortable, with natural stone
walls and a high wooden ceiling. Nicely furnished with solid tropical
wood, there is comfortable seating including a federal antique style
sofa. There is always a nice breeze and the area opens out onto
the wraparound veranda where there is more seating and some great look
out points. A computer is included for your use.
Master Bedroom
The bedroom at
Plenty Wind House is just lovely, with high wooden beamed ceilings, a
luxurious four poster bed and plenty of storage space. In keeping with
the rest of the property, this bedroom achieves the perfect blend of
luxury and natural features, with a great atmosphere. There is also nice wooden seating, and the bedroom opens out onto a lovely outside
area, with a great sense of space. Another great feature is the open
air bathroom, complete with a gorgeous claw foot bath tub.
Fantastic layout
Plenty Wind has a great layout and the whole property has a lovely
atmosphere. The heart of this Bequia villa rental is the lovely open
kitchen, and there are various indoor and outdoor dining areas. Plenty
Wind has a generous wrap around breezy veranda, where you can sit in
the breeze and soak up your beautiful surroundings. The villa also has
open air showers, and a fantastic sense of privacy, helping you to
totally relax during your stay.
The Cottage. . .
Well designed bedrooms
The
two bedrooms at Plenty Wind Villa are both beautifully open and well
designed, in keeping with the rest of the house which is tastefully
furnished and decorated. Each room has the great feature of a private
courtyard, and these spaces definitely have a great, relaxing feel to
them. An extra guest bed is also available on request.
Fabulous pool and outside area
The
pool at Plenty Wind is among the most luxurious on Bequia, with a
stunning cliff top gazebo which overlooks Hope Bay and has amazing views.
There are sun loungers, and shaded areas where you can relax with a good
book in the cool breeze, along with seating areas where you can bask in
the Bequia sunshine and fall in love with the island! There is
definitely a calm and quiet mood here. Vegetables and tropical fruits
are also grown on the estate.
Plenty
Wind also has a few great extra features that will make your stay here
even more enjoyable. This Bequia villa rental includes a car, and a
complimentary welcome meal, along with the option to have all meals catered for.
