This brand new villa arguably has one of
the best locations on Bequia - it is situated directly above the golden
sand of Princess Margaret Beach.
The main house, situated on the lower level can be rented independently, or together with A Shade of Blues Apartment, meaning that
this villa offers great options for families or groups of friends.
Lovely pool & lovely beach location
This excellent Bequia
vacation base overlooks Bequia's best beach Princess Margaret, just a stones throw
from the warm turquoise waters, where you can take a dip or explore
some fantastic snorkeling spots.
At the villa the pool is in a central location so a relaxing dip is easy from the rooms and it is the heart of the villa.
Jack's Beach Bar located just below the villa is great for a refreshing drink,
sundowner or a quick speedboat trip into Admiralty Bay or the popular
nearby Lower Bay Beach from the wooden dinghy dock.
The walk back up to the villa from the beach is short but steep and is well worth the view!
A Lovely Bequia villa rental
This newly built villa - finished to a high standard with warm colours
for a calm relaxing atmosphere. A good sized infinity edged pool, large
deck area and private balconies off each bedroom means there is plenty
of space to enjoy the fantastic view out over the beach.
This villa has it all for a superb Caribbean beach location with a nice traditional Caribbean styled property.
Kitchen and dining areas
There
is an open plan, well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and magical
views of the bay. It opens onto the balcony for dining and relaxing -
great to enjoy your sundowners and sunset suppers.
There is also a small BBQ kitchenette area just off the pool deck.
Living area
The balcony opens into the airy living room with TV, iPod dock and relaxed seating. All living areas are cooled by ceiling fans.
2 double bedrooms
A Shade of Blues main house has two equally sized bedrooms, one with king sized bed (and AC) the other queen size (ceiling fans) Each room has its own private bathroom, consisting of a luxurious open-air shower and separate wc, and its own balcony
with lovely, expansive views of the beach and Admiralty Bay. These rooms are lovely spaces in which to relax and both face west to enjoy the beautiful sunsets.
Extra features
Just off the pool area is the 'Dancing Deck' or large sun deck with a pergola for shade which also overlooks the beach. Beach towels can be provided if required.
There is a small air conditioned gym room-
great for those wishing to keep fit! (Gym equipment may only be used
at guests own risk. Owners accept no liability.)
Jacks Bar Opening
From Jack's,
you can enjoy cool refreshing drinks at the beach bar in the shade -
with beautiful washrooms and dining this is a new feature of Princess
Margaret Beach and one that has many advantages to guests renting the
nearby villas.
During the high season (1st Dec - 30th April)
Jacks is open for dinner just once weekly - Tuesday nights with live
music from around 9pm - 12 / 12.30. Otherwise open from 10am daily for
lunch (no breakfast)
During the low season (1st May - 30th November) Jacks is closed in the evenings.
Recommended for Wedding Groups
A Shade of Blues works well for large groups visiting Bequia for a
wedding or family or friends reunion, especially when linked with other

"My husband and I were lucky enough to spend a week in Bequia at a house called A Shade of Blues. It was beautiful, we stayed in the upper apartment and it had everything we could possibly want. The bedroom was large with a king sized bed with blue netting on a frame so it was easy to use and didn't have to be tucked in, as you can tell my bed is very important to me.
I'd like to say that, one of my favorite parts was the shower that was open to the sky but there were so many favorite parts. Sitting on the deck and looking at all of the boats in the harbor or looking down at the whale swimming pool. The kitchen had everything that we needed and was charming.
Of course this was just the two bedroom apartment, the rest of the house is amazing, with large decks and everything you could possibly want for a dream vacation. And if you want a little more, well you can just walk down the stairs to a pristine beach and have a dinner at Jacks, bar and restaurant."

Driving out of Port Elizabeth towards the south side of Bequia, take the third right hand turn with a small wooden sign for Princess Margarets Beach. Follow the road down along the back of the beach and continue straight on until you reach the small parking bay for Jacks Beach Bar. Take the second driveway on your right up to the doors of A Shade of Blues.
TRANSFER TO THE VILLA...
Grenadine Island Villas will arrange a traditional open style taxi to meet you on your arrival on the island and transfer you to your villa. Please simply pay the driver directly in EC or USD - (rates between $10 to $20US).
