Friendship House is set in two acres of mature, tropical gardens with stunning panoramic views of the sea and beach below. The layout of the villa and It's tiered outdoor spaces, are closely connected to nature and expertly configured to capture the beauty of the location.

Friendship Bay House Location

Conveniently located in the center of the island, Friendship House is just a short drive from almost everywhere. Friendship Bay beach is a beautifully unspoiled peaceful beach, a crescent shaped arc of sand protected by a large reef and out lying islands. The shallow waters are usually calm and quiet - the perfect spot for swimming. The Bequia Beach Hotel with it's cocktails and candlelit meals is only a two minute stroll along the beach.

From when the sun rises to sun set, the south-facing rooms, wrap-around veranda and expansive pool area are all positioned to make the most of Bequia' magnificent year-round climate. Flooded with natural light and created with a free spirited lifestyle in mind, the villa is finished to the highest standards and slickly kitted out with everything you expect from a luxurious boutique hideaway.

Villa Services

Discreet and attentive staff are on stand-by and, as well as providing laundry, housekeeping and concierge service, we can also organise for a private house chef, car, a driver, a boat with a captain to be at your disposal. The villa welcomes families and childcare facilities can also be arranged on request. The houses 32 ft Contender Speedboat can be used on request for day trips to nearby islands.

5 luxury Bedrooms for max 10 guests

The house comfortably sleeps 8 adults + 2 children in 5 bedrooms: 2 bedrooms (connected) on the upper level and 3 on the ground floor pool deck level. With a large open-plan living, kitchen and dining area that completely opens out onto the covered outside dining and lounge area. Stairs then lead down to the lawn and the pool and lounging terrace which also incorporates a pool house, sundeck, bar and outdoor kitchen as well as further shaded al fresco dining space. A private path flows from here to an idyllic stretch of pristine sandy beach. The garden also houses the yoga deck and a fully-equipped gym.

Large Luxury Bedrooms

Friendship House has 5 air conditioned bedrooms all with blackout curtains, luxury linens and Hungarian goose down duvets. On the upper living is the huge King Sized Master Suite with walk in dressing room and private wrap around balcony with stunning panoramic views. Connected to this room is a bedroom which can be made up as a double or as two twins which means this room can work well for child/children whose parents are in the master (shares the Master bathroom).

The remaining 3 bedrooms are located on the ground floor: a King, a Queen and a Twin room which all have all ensuites. All open out individually onto the deck and those same mesmerising ocean views. Bathrooms are Italian tiled Lefroy Brooks.

Friendship House provide Elemis Shampoo and conditioner in the showers as well as Elemis bars of soap in the bathroom sinks and showers. We ask that guests do not remove the Elemis Bottles from the house or they may incur a charge for the products.

Safe and Secure

Bequia is a very safe island and Friendship an area with a great reputation for safety . To reassure guests further the property enjoys automatic gates on the driveway to the property, the key fob for this will be provided with the house keys.

Safe : Each bedroom has a room safe with instruction on how this can be set to the guests choice of pin code.

Friendship House embraces the best of both worlds, striking a balance between giving guests the opportunity to indulge as well as recharge. Begin each day in the zen garden by greeting the sunrise on the yoga deck, either in private or with an instructor. Tailored pilates, meditation and personal training sessions can also be arranged.

The 40 ft infinity pool promises another way to calm the mind, taking in spectacular views with every lap. The villa's gym is fully kitted out with Life Fitness machines and Jordan Fitness equipment. Explore the verdant coastal scenery from a different angle using the paddle boards, kayaks and snorkelling gear. For those who would rather a less strenuous approach, guests can enjoy a range of relaxing massage and beauty treatments.

Healthy eating is a big feature too: Friendship and lush, tropical surrounds are dotted with fruit trees where everything from mangoes, oranges and papaya to bananas, coconut and pineapple provide delicious ingredients to refuel. We can also arrange for vegetables and locally sourced produce to be delivered to the house as well as fresh lobster (in season) and filleted fish.

Chef Services

There are plenty of lovely local restaurants but if you wish to have a private chef for your entire stay, or for a special meal, the House Chef Patrick is available.

The property engages the best on island chef approximate base rates are below (not including food cost / delivery tailored quote provided as rate depends on the number of guests in residence) Lunch Ec$280 / 100 USD Dinner Ec$320 / 120 USD BBQ prices on request depending on group size.

His food emphasises local produce and with a bountiful supply from the sea, fresh fish dishes are always a highlight.  We highly recommend Chef Patrick's lobster BBQ on the beach.

No Smoking in the House or Bedrooms

The house is strictly non smoking - including veranda. Smoking is allowed down at pool bar area only. Any burn marks to upholstery will be fully charged to cover cost of shipping from uk / manufacturing of new covers etc.
