Main Villa

The house is a geodesic dome with central, open plan living, kitchen and dining area. The bedroom with queen bed is located on the mezzanine floor accessed via a spiral staircase. A skylight directly above the bed offers night time star gazing. Further steps from here lead up to a stunning viewing tower. The dome design with high beamed ceilings provides wonderful acoustics from the surround sound speaker system.

The house is designed to capture the cool trade-winds keeping guests comfortable on the warmest of Caribbean days. The tropical gardens, breath-taking ocean views and relaxing atmosphere provides ideal vacation accommodations.

A fishpond with trickling fountain and waterfall adds to the ambiance. The many small guppy and larger koi fish in the pond also help to keep the surrounding area free from Mosquitoes. From the patio and pool, there is a stunning view over the islands of Baliceaux and Battowia.

Freshwater Pool

On the porch, guests can enjoy a refreshing dip in the private Freshwater pool, which boasts simply stunning ocean views. On both sides of the pool are shaded seating areas, with a lovely, relaxed atmosphere.

Ready to Cook

The property has a beautifully equipped kitchen, including a large fridge freezer, water and ice dispenser, coffee maker, gas stove/oven, microoven and toaster. It is socially connected with the main living spaces. The separate cottage also contains a small fridge and cooker. There is a washing machine located in the laundry room.

The house is wired for both 220v and 110v appliances.

Natural Location with Ocean View

The property is set in a very quiet and peaceful location (accessed via a private road with ample parking) but is still just a short drive from bars, restaurants and Bequia's pristine beaches.

The nearest beach is Ravine Bay - a 10-minute walk or Hope Beach around a 20-minute walk.

The property has been recently upgraded and finished with stone paths and additional trees and shrubs have been planted.

This Bequia property enjoys a beautiful, natural setting with lovely interior spaces - the pool is perfectly placed and the furnishings ensure a relaxing experience throughout. This is ideal for a true Caribbean get away.

The landscaped garden has a wealth of fruit trees including Banana, Coconut, Papaya, Passion Fruit, Oranges, Lime, Grapefruit, Almond, Custard Apple, Cinnamon and Herbs.

Cedar Retreat is located in Mount Pleasant, on the beautiful Old Fort Estate. It is a short 15-minute drive from beaches, bars, restaurants and the main harbour town of Port Elizabeth.
