Spacious Bedrooms

There is a twin room and a queen sized bedroom both have private en suite bathrooms. All the rooms in this villa offer spectacular ocean views.

Refreshing Terraces

There is a large terrace facing the ocean at the front of the villa, expanding the living space and offering an alternative dining option.

The terrace to the rear inland side of the house offers a quiet, cool, private space and can be accessed directly from the second bedroom. This area naturally leads out to the beautifully managed tropical sands of the Palm Island Resort.

Views over Islands

Every room provides ocean views across to the gateway of Palm island, the islands of Union and Mayreau and the nearby Tobago Cays Marine Park. Clean, clear often deserted beaches, stretch out of sight whilst Rum Punch Villa is shaded by mature, swaying palms and tropical plants.

Light, Stylish Interiors

The walls are white and the villa has lots of storage space, shelving and a unique curved interior perfect for entertaining and relaxation. A modern open plan kitchen complements the interior featuring a gas hob and oven, spacious work surfaces and overhead ceiling fan.

Rustic Barefoot Charm

The villa is just footsteps from the water and simply decorated in a comfortable beach style incorporating natural driftwood, shells and marine based art.

Minimum Rental Period

Generally villas on Palm Island will require a 4 day minimum booking.

Shopping

Palm Island has only a souvenir shop. For groceries nearby Union Island has a good selection including supermarkets, bakeries, a gourmet store and an excellent local fruit & vegetable market.

Palm Island Per-Provisioning Service

We can arrange for groceries to be pre-ordered and delivered toyour villa. Guests will be expected to pay for groceries upon arrival at the villa. There will be a standard charge of around 85 EC for transport to the island + the cost of the groceries + 20% service charge.

Palm Island Resort

This stunning island hosts a private resort and a handful of private beachfront villas including Rum Punch Villa. The beaches are sugary white and expansive sweeping around the island offering the perfect place to dip in for a swim, scuba dive or snorkel.

Bikes are available for guests of the Palm Island Resort and not normally available for rental to external guests however they can be rented from a company on nearby Union Island for the duration of yourstay.

There is a swimming pool and tennis courts at the Palm Island Resort, these may be available for villa guests use at a rate negotiable with the Resort Manager, please ask the team for details.

Meal Preparation

Some housekeepers are prepared to offer a meal preparation service for guests, at a charge of around 25 USD, please ask the team for details.

Dining

The Sunset Restaurant is available on Palm Island for villaguests. This is quite informal and not always open out of season so please check with the team for details. The Palm Island Resort does have the Royal Palm Restaurant and Sunset Grill which may be available for villa guests, please ask the team for details. As this is an all inclusive resort guests will be expected to provide credit card details as the staff are not used to handling cash.

Transport to Union

The return fare in a water taxi to Union Island is 100 USD for up to 6 guests.

Tipping

10% of the overall rental fee would be recommended as a tip which would be given to the Housekeeper at the end of guests stay.

*Palm Island is usually a crime free environment - it is possible to arrange for items to be stowed in a safe if you wish - please let the house team know once you have arrived on the island. They can make arrangements for you.
