This is a charming wooden cottage with an open plan interior and 2 double beds, ideal for a couple with a young family. Located on Windward Bay this cottage offers a simple, relaxed rustic Caribbean experience, perfect for guests to unwind and forget the stresses of modern day living. Set in beautiful tropical Bougainvillea, Papaya, Lime and Grapefruit filled gardens, with outdoor terraces on all four sides - the perfect place to relax in a hammock and do a spot of bird watching.

Open Plan

An open plan interior with simple kitchen facilities, dining area and 2 double beds (one as a loft bed ideal for small children) with separate bath house. WiFi internet is provided.

Baby Blue Cottage

A separate cozy cottage is  also available in conjuncture with Blue Cottage - containing 2 single bunk beds and It's own wooden deck - perfect for teenagers. (please add 30 USD per day for use of Baby Blue) .

Quaint, Colourful and Cozy

For larger groups there are 3 other similarly equipped cottages available on the estate (Yellow, Green and Red Cottage).

Getting Around

Carriacou is a small, undeveloped island. Cars can be rented and guests can arrange to have the car ready for pick up at the airport. Please ask the team for details. Public transport is quite reasonable, there is a bus route that whilst not necessarily frequent will be the most cost effective and local of experiences. There are both taxis are mini-buses and these will cost around EC$20 - $40 depending on where the villa is located in relation to the point of arrival on Carriacou, either thejetty or the airport.

Dining at Bayaleau

All the cottages are equipped with kitchenettes which include a stove top, toaster oven and fridge freezers. Evening meals are also provided from the seaside deck, often featuring the catch of the day and freshly baked bread from around 30 USD per person.

Upon Arrival

There are taxis available from the ferry terminal that will take guests to the cottages at an approximate cost of 35EC$, grocery shopping is possible at the ferry area.

Carriacou

An unspoilt gem, Carriacou has beautiful beaches and little development,a car would be recommended whilst on island although there are buses and taxis available.

Island Activities

There are a wide variety of watersports and activities available on Carriacou which include kitesurfing, sailing, scuba diving and even donkey treks, all easily arranged in advance or in island.
