aim to make car hire easy as possible...
Each of the vehicles is provided
through very good sources and the owners are on call at anytime to
assist with the rental - we have been repeatedly impressed by their
service.
Hiring a car for your stay certainly gives you more freedom:
Jeeps:
4 Wheel drive jeep with air conditioning & power steering
60US$ per day if a week or more
66 US$ per day if rented for less than a week
Mini Mokes: small fun open sided vehicle (no doors)
50US$ per day if rented for a week or more
55 US$ per day if rented for less than a week
Scooters:
40 US$ per day if rented for a week or more
45 US$ per day if rented for less than a week
Local licences:
Local licenses cost 20US$ each
Our administration fee for pre-arranging each licenses is just 10US$
We can then have your vehicle and licenses delivered direct to your villa / the wharf or the airport
All we require to obtain the licence for you is:
1. A scanned copy of each drivers current drivers license
2. A scanned copy of each drivers passport document
You are required by law to attain a local drivers permit for each driver
Pick up & return:
Can be ready & waiting for you at the Villa, Airport or dock
Can be left at the end of the rental period at a convienient place for you, villa, airport or dock.
Keys are usually left in the glove compartment - car theft is not a problem on the island :-)
Cars to be returned with same amount of Gas
Driving on Bequia:
Please drive on the left
The roads are fairly good on the island - some are a little bumpy - some are steep
You
can easily drive right up to the beach at Park Bay, Industry, Spring,
Princess Margarets Beach & Lower Bay, Friendship & the Adams
Bay Beach( before Moonhole)
Hope, Ravine & Rocky Bay all need to be accessed on foot
